Hello!

I'm Dr. Nicole Calloway Rankins

A board-certified, practicing OB/GYN, wife, mom, podcast host, and course creator, here to help you have your most beautiful pregnancy and birth experience.

Born into a family of educators, I felt the pull to medical school the day I looked in the mirror and saw a vision of myself in a white coat. And get this… it happened while I was studying to be an engineer.

Sounds crazy, right?!

But that vision has led me to deliver more than 1,000 babies and demystify childbirth for thousands more women — through my 5-star rated All About Pregnancy & Birth podcast, my free online Birth Plan class, and my signature online program: The Birth Preparation Course.

But that vision has led me to deliver more than 1,000 babies and demystify childbirth for thousands more women — through my 5 star rated All About Pregnancy & Birth podcast, my free online Birth Plan class, and my signature online program: The Birth Preparation Course.

I've been working with pregnant women for more than 15 years.

I started sharing my knowledge and expertise online after seeing SO MANY women feel scared, overwhelmed, and unprepared when it came time to give birth.

Having given birth to two smart, kind, and hilarious girls (who are both Iron Chefs in the kitchen!), I know firsthand the fear and anxiety that comes from navigating all the options you have for your birth experience.

That became especially true when my first daughter was born 8 weeks premature — with an intestinal malformation called duodenal atresia, that required surgery.

She spent a month in the neonatal intensive care unit, but I’m happy to report she’s thriving today (including being a year ahead in school and 5 inches taller than me and counting!).

I’ve also come to appreciate how important it is for women to educate themselves so they can advocate for the Beautiful Birth they want and deserve.

4.  When I was in college, I studied abroad for a year in Kenya. On my way back home, I visited Egypt. One of the best trips of my life.

5. When I’m not working my way through Africa, I prefer a private and secluded beach or cabin in the mountains for my getaway.
