Hello!
I'm Dr. Nicole Calloway Rankins
A board-certified, practicing OB/GYN, wife, mom, podcast host, and course creator, here to help you have your most beautiful pregnancy and birth experience.
Born into a family of educators, I felt the pull to medical school the day I looked in the mirror and saw a vision of myself in a white coat. And get this… it happened while I was studying to be an engineer.
Sounds crazy, right?!
But that vision has led me to deliver more than 1,000 babies and demystify childbirth for thousands more women — through my 5-star rated All About Pregnancy & Birth podcast (over 1 million downloads), my online Birth Plan class, and my signature online program: The Birth Preparation Course.

I've been working with pregnant women for more than 15 years.
I started sharing my knowledge and expertise online after seeing SO MANY women feel scared, overwhelmed, and unprepared when it came time to give birth.
Having given birth to two smart, kind, and opinionated girls (who are both Iron Chefs in the kitchen!), I know firsthand the fear and anxiety that comes from navigating all the options you have for your birth experience.
That became especially true when my first daughter was born 8 weeks premature — with an intestinal malformation called duodenal atresia, that required surgery.
She spent a month in the neonatal intensive care unit, but I’m happy to report she’s thriving today (including being a year ahead in school and 5 inches taller than me and counting!).

I’ve also come to appreciate how important it is for women to educate themselves so they can advocate for the Beautiful Birth they want and deserve. I have lots of resources to help you.

So...I'm really smart. Like really, really smart.

And 5 fun facts about me....
1. Hand me a piece of my husband’s made from scratch white chocolate cheesecake and sit me down in front of an episode of House Hunters, and I am one happy woman.
2. Hoop earrings are life. Seriously. Colorful socks and quirky shoes for work, too.
3. I used to hate eye makeup. But turns out I was just scared of it messing with my contacts. It was a lesson to try something before you write it off.
4. When I was in college, I studied abroad for a year in Kenya. On my way back home, I visited Egypt. One of the best trips of my life.
5. I'd rather talk in front of 10,000 people than have to do small talk with a group of 10 people (I'm SUPER introverted).
